Genbu is the turtle/snake God
of the North. He represents Winter. The long Winter nights seem to go on forever. Genbu is also the God of military strategy.
Byakko is the White Tiger of the East. He is the God of Fall and he rules over plants and
crops though most of his country is desert-like and hot.

- About: Tomite's body died over a hundred years ago (In Fushigi Yugi: The Mysterious Play.
In Genbu Kaiden he's alive) but his spirit remains guarding the sacred Shinhazo of Genbu. He's an excellent marksman
with the bow and he has the ability to shoot ice projectiles of his own craft with deadly accuracy. He can also surround his
enemies within an energy ring which crushes the life out of them. He dresses in northern style clothing - appropriate given
the weather in Hokkan.

- About: Hikitsu can create ice creatures and command them to attack. He is especially adept at
creating ice snakes. Hikitsu's seishi symbol is actually ON his eye as a result, he is blind on his right eye and wears an
eye patch to cover it up. Like Tomite, his physical body died over 200 years ago (In the Mysterious Play) but his spiritual
manifestation remains as one of the guardians of the Genbu Shinhazo.

hide from people of Hokkan. He has the power over wind, and he turns into a woman whenever he uses that power. His close companion

About: The forth Warrior, Namame is a rock who just wants to be with other
people. After attempting to fit in and being driven away, he was taken in by Priestess Anru. He is able to control
rocks and earth.

About: A Priestess who resides in the rock garden outside Iferui. She
took in Namame and told Takiko where to find the other Warriors. Namame cared about her so much but she was killed by
Kutou.
